Dogs
Our 10 dog suites are light and spacious with the sleeping areas varying between 1.5m x 1.7m and 2m x 3.3m (5ft x 5.5ft and 6.5ft x 10ft). Each bedroom is naturally light with a standard house door giving access to a secure corridor. Our guests have their own door to go in and out to their garden rooms which are 2.8m (9ft) long with views to the countryside beyond.
Our floors are tiled with slip resistant tiles in natural colours and have thermostatically controlled underfloor heating with cool lying areas.
Our rooms are totally private, with sound insulated solid walls and ceilings, so your dog is not disturbed by other residents.
A radio is left on at all times.
Bedding
We recommend that you bring along your dog's bed and bedding as this will be a comfort to them and help them settle more easily. However, we are happy to provide a bed - we provide one of our special sofas along with a duvet or a traditional plastic bed; whichever bed type will make your dog feel most comfortable.
Cats

Once we have completed the the 6 full height luxury pens are in our stone steading will have views through secure full length windows. Each cat's private accommodation consists of sleeping quarters to the rear, which can be closed off completely if required.

There is panel heating in each sleeping quarters, thermostatically controlled to keep a minimum temp of 15 degrees Celsius.
Each sleeping quarters opens out into its own exercise run through a full size glass/PVC door, but your cat can choose to access the run via a cat flap when the door is closed. The top half of the run area is made of toughened safety glass and there is a viewing platform in each run where cats like to sit and watch birds on the bird table. Some cats also like to keep an eye on what their feline neighbours are up to! Each run opens out via a sturdy mesh door to the escape-proof safety corridor, which is vital if your cat happens to be a "Houdini".
